Two area softball teams competed Monday evening.
Indian Lake shut out Tri-Village 10-0 in the DIII Sectional Final.
Madison Brentlinger went six shutout innings, allowing two hits, striking out five, and walking none.

The Lakers offense beat the ball around the park all night. They had three hits in the first inning, but didn’t score as the inning ended with a runner thrown out at home plate.
They exploded in the 3rd inning with 5 runs followed by singe runs in the 4th and 5th before putting the run-rule in play with three in the sixth.
IL had 13 hits on the night with eight of the nine players in the lineup getting at least 1 hit.
Hannah Marlow, Haylee Edwards, Reece Martin, and Mackenzie Dixon all managed multiple hits.
Indian Lake will face Clermont Northeastern Thursday at 5:00 in the District Final.
Riverside hosted Covington in a regular season game and fell 18-5.
Riley Dillon and Avery Perk had home runs for the Pirates.
The Lady Pirates travel to Ansonia Tuesday for the third round of the tournament.
