The Riverside Lady Pirates basketball team dropped its Three Rivers Conference opener Thursday night, falling to the Bethel Bees 59–32.
Bethel set the tone early, jumping out to a 17–7 lead after the first quarter and extending the margin to 36–16 by halftime. Riverside continued to battle in the third, but Bethel carried a 47–23 advantage into the final period before securing the win.
