Lady Pirates, Tigers and Lakers battle over the weekend

The Riverside Lady Pirates defeated Bradford 50-30 on Saturday morning.

Avery Perk led the team with 14 points, and Miah Carman contributed 11 points.

Riverside improves their season record to 7-15.

The Lady Pirates are set to play Twin Valley South next Saturday at 12:30 PM at Tecumseh High School in a tournament game.

West Liberty-Salem won a close game against Mechanicsburg, finishing 38-34.

Addie Wallen was the top scorer with 17 points, while Maddie McGill added 8 points.

Ava Johnson scored 4 points, and Ava Astorino chipped in 5 points.

In the JV game, Mechanicsburg defeated WL-S 36-32.

Grace Jones led the JV team with 9 points.

Indian Lake lost 35-31 to Jackson Center in their final regular-season game.

Kennedy Schwaderer and Mackenzie Dixon each scored 11 points, while Carly Strayer added 7 points.

Rya Pequignot contributed 2 points.

Courtney Altstaetter led the team in rebounds with 10.

Despite the loss, the Lakers finished the regular season with a 13-8 record, marking the most wins for the team since 2010.

In the JV game, Jackson Center won 31-24.

Terra Beltz led the Lakers with 11 points and 7 rebounds, while Haley Metzger scored 7 points and dished out 3 assists.

The JV team ended their season with a record of 8-13.
