Lady Raiders again set team-best score, Lakers earn strong victory in local golf results

Local high school girls’ golf teams were back on the course Tuesday, with Benjamin Logan, Bellefontaine and Indian Lake all competing in 9-hole matches.

Benjamin Logan 201, Graham 243

Benjamin Logan recorded its best team score of the season Tuesday, defeating Graham 201-243 in a dual match at Cherokee Hills Golf Course.

Catherine Bramlage led the Lady Raiders with a 47, followed by Leah Braddock with a 49. Kaylynn Crumm carded a 52, while Sophia “River” VanVoorhis shot a 53 to round out the four scores counting toward Benjamin Logan’s team total.

Montana Coleman also competed for the Raiders with a 59, while Kaydence Hamlin finished with a 72.

The victory moves Benjamin Logan to 2-2 in CBC play.

The Lady Raiders will be back on the course Wednesday for a matchup with Bellefontaine at Liberty Hills Golf Course.

Indian Lake 202, Ridgemont 238

Indian Lake picked up a 202-238 victory over Ridgemont Tuesday at Kenton Memorial Golf Course.

Adriana Andrus led the Lady Lakers with a 46, earning medalist honors for the match.

Chloe Borgerding followed with a 49, while Terra Beltz carded a 52 and Lily Michael added a 55 to complete Indian Lake’s team score.

The four scoring rounds gave the Lakers a 202 team total, with Indian Lake finishing 36 strokes ahead of Ridgemont.

The Lady Lakers will return to action Wednesday against Kenton at Kenton Golf Course. The match is scheduled for a 4:30 p.m. start

London 204, Bellefontaine 233

Bellefontaine traveled to London Country Club Tuesday for a dual match against London, with the Lady Chiefs falling 204-233.

Olivia Dearwester paced Bellefontaine with a 53, followed by Allie Myers with a 56.

Ella Fultz added a 59, while Paxton Stewart rounded out the team score with a 65.

The Lady Chiefs will continue their season Wednesday when they face Benjamin Logan at Liberty Hills Golf Course.
