Lady Raiders, Braves play to scoreless draw; boys soccer scores

In a game with huge implications in the MadRiver division, 7-1 Shawnee and the 8-1 Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders played to a 0-0 tie.

The Lady Raiders will be on the road next Monday to face rival Indian Lake.

 

The Benjamin Logan boys varsity team defeated Shawnee 5-0.

Landen Simon had the hat trick for the Raiders tonight and added an assist.

Aidan Todd recorded a goal and an assist, and Gavin Jordan also had a goal.

Isaac Skidmore and Luke Vesely notched assists.

Joe Meeker got credit for the shutout without having to make a single save.

The defense of Cason Bothel, Bode Clapsaddle, and Ozwin McWade kept every attack away from the Raider goal.

The Raiders are now 8-3-0 and will travel to Indian Lake on Monday for a big CBC match-up.

 

Bellefontaine faced a tough opponent in Kenton Ridge on Wednesday night, falling 5-0 in a physical and fast-paced match.

Kenton Ridge struck early with goals in the 21st and 29th minutes, setting the tone before halftime.

Despite BHS’s efforts to regroup, KRHS continued to apply pressure in the second half, adding three more goals to seal the win.

It was a difficult outing for the Chieftains, who struggled to match Kenton Ridge’s physical style of play.

While the result was a setback, the team remains focused on growth and resilience.

The players are ready to bounce back as they prepare for their next matchup against Sidney on Saturday.

The Indian Lake Boys Soccer Team secured a key CBC victory at home Wednesday night over Graham.
The Lakers won 2-1 in this hotly contested match-up.
Midway through the first half, Will Faler powered a ball into the goal to take the 1-0 lead.
Just before the break, Aidan Stinebaugh snuck in a high kick for another goal, making it 2-0 going into the break. Avery Pequignot had both assists.
After the half, the Falcons scored one goal, but the fast and strong Laker defense was able to hold.
Griffin Schaub had 10 saves in the goal.
The guys are back on the pitch Saturday at Jackson Center at 5 pm.
