The Calvary Christian varsity girls’ basketball team ran past East Dayton Christian 49-17 Saturday.
The Lady Spartans were led by Abigail Reinhard with 12 points, 5 steals, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Hannah Marlow also dropped in 12 points with 5 boards, 2 steals, and an assist.
Kari Gantz added 8 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.
Nora Thornton pitched in 6 points and 5 boards.
Kaylie Carter added 4 points.
Madhuri Cook, KayLee Hurley, and Karlie Penhoorwood each chipped in 2 points.
“It was great to see all of the girls getting in the action and playing tough defense,” said head coach Lee Reinhard.
Calvary Christian improves to 2-0 overall and in the OVCC.
