The West Liberty-Salem Lady Tigers won a close game against Mechanicsburg Thursday night, coming out on top 39-35.
Ava Astorino led the way with 12 points, while Addi Wallen and Ava Poppe each scored 10 points.
Maddie McGill added 3 points, and Ava Johnson and Belle Sarver both contributed 2 points.
The Tigers shot 13-14 from the free-throw line.
In JV action, WL-S also picked up a win, defeating Mechanicsburg 29-26, with Grace Jones leading the team with 9 points.
Meanwhile, the Riverside Lady Pirates lost a close game to Lehman Catholic, 27-24.
Avery Perk scored 11 points to lead Riverside, with Miah Carman adding 7 points.
The Pirates’ record now stands at 4-12.
They will play Hardin Northern on Saturday.
