A full week of girls basketball saw West Liberty-Salem roll to a dominant conference win on Friday, while Benjamin Logan opened its season at home earlier in the week against Bluffton.
WL-S 71, West Jefferson 30
West Liberty-Salem improved to 2–0 overall and 1–0 in the OHC with a commanding 71–30 victory over West Jefferson on Friday evening.

West Jefferson was led by Mannon with 18 points.
In the JV game, WL-S defeated West Jefferson 39–15.
Emily King scored 13 points, and Ava Martin added 10 for the Tigers.
Bluffton 72, Benjamin Logan 45 – Varsity
The Benjamin Logan varsity Lady Raiders opened their season at home Wednesday but came up short against Bluffton, falling 72–45.
Jozie Taylor led the Raiders with 12 points, while Rylan Norviel added 9 points and 8 rebounds.
Kylie Harner contributed 6 points, and both Adilynne Gregg and Kaylee Hays finished with 5 points each.
Daylin Varner pulled down 9 rebounds.
Bluffton 53, Benjamin Logan 47 (2OT) – JV
The JV Lady Raiders battled through a back-and-forth contest that stretched into double overtime before Bluffton escaped with a 53–47 win.
Paislee Rodenberger delivered a big performance with 19 points and 8 steals.
Jozie Taylor added 17 points, Aubrey Harris grabbed 6 rebounds, and Brielle Kline recorded 5 steals.
Benjamin Logan returns to action Saturday when they open conference play at home against Graham. JV is scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m.
