The West Liberty-Salem girls soccer team traveled to Northeastern Thursday night for Ohio Heritage Conference play and came away with a commanding 7-0 victory over the Jets.
Goalkeepers Kaylee Blair and Ella Jacobs combined for the shutout, while scoring for the Tigers came from Jenna Cline with three goals, Arianna Weaver with two, and Ellery Wygal and Gwen McCullough each adding one.
The win improves WLS to 1-1-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
The Tigers return to the road Monday evening to face Springfield Catholic Central, with kickoff scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
