Laker girls take 3rd at Capital University Indoor track meet; boys finish 15th

Indian Lake’s indoor track team competed Sunday at Capital University.

The Lady Lakers finished 3rd out of 34 teams with 40 points scored.

For Indian Lake:

Ava Faler won the triple jump (28-10.5) and placed 6th in the high jump (4-6).

Grace Pequignot placed 2nd in the shot put (30-6).

Elayna Richardson took 3rd in the 200M dash (27.23), 6th in the 400 (1:06), and 9th in the 60 (8.41).

Meya Karbowiak finished 3rd in the triple jump (24-7.5) and 19th in the long jump (12-5).

Maddie Miller was 5th in the shot put (30-2).

Also competing for the Lady Lakers were Ava Huffman who took 11th in the long jump (13-9) and Mara Bihn was 14th in the 60M hurdles (12.00).

The boys placed 15th of 36 teams.

Caiden Gauntt took 3rd in the triple jump (37-4), 3rd in the long jump (20-3), and was 46th in the 60 (7.88).

Evin Parker finished 6th in the triple jump (34-9), 15th in the long jump (17-3), and 33rd in the 400 (1:01).

Byran Mohler was 13th in the 800 (2:26), 24th in the long jump (13-0.5), and 31st in the 400 (1:00).

Stephen Spofford took 21st in the shot put (30-6), 23rd in the long jump (14-0.5), and 74th in the 60 (8.44).

Cameron Finfrock was 21st in the 400 (1:11) and 21st in the 200 (30.42),

Dawson Carter finished 22nd in the shot put (30-1).
