Laker, Indian bowlers earn sweeps in Thursday bowling action

Area lanes were busy Thursday night as local teams faced off at Goshen Lanes and Bowl 10, with Indian Lake and Mechanicsburg both sweeping their varsity matchups thanks to strong team totals and standout individual performances.

VARSITY GIRLS — Indian Lake defeats Triad (Goshen Lanes)

The Indian Lake girls rolled to victory over Triad on Thursday night. Addison Castle led the Lakers with a 390 series, followed by Kacie Craft with 330 and Savannah Lamb with 318. Kyleigh Castle added 254, and Chassy Dolan contributed 237. Indian Lake totaled 1,529 pins in regular games and added 537 in Baker play.

Indian Lake completed the sweep with a 2325–2140 win over Triad in the boys’ match. Jeremiah Galbraith paced the Lakers with a 392 series, while Kaleb Galbraith added 372 and Brody Black rolled 350. Cody Jacobs contributed 29,1 and Gabe Stidam finished with 238. The Lakers posted 1,643 pins in regular games and added 682 in Baker play.
