The Laker Swim teams hosted their only home meet of the season at the Hilliker YMCA on Tuesday night, with teams from Indian Lake, Sidney, Tecumseh, Jonathan Alder, and Shawnee participating.

Due to smaller team sizes, mixed relays (boys and girls together) were held, giving more swimmers the opportunity to be part of a relay.

The Lakers finished in 2nd place overall.

Caleb Altstaetter took first place in both the 100 free and 50 free races, while Crew McPherson finished first in the Boys 100 breaststroke.

The next meet is on December 27th at the YMCA for the Bellefontaine Invitational.

The Chieftain swimmers made a splash at Trotwood on Wednesday night.

The girls came in first place in the eight-team competition, scoring 418 points, while the boys earned second place with 329 points, finishing behind Bellbrook.
