Area girls’ bowling teams competed at the district tournament Wednesday.
In Division II action from Beaver-Vu Lanes in Beavercreek, Indian Lake earned District runner-up with a team score of 3398.
Two Lakers made the All-District Tournament team: Kayleigh Zedlitz fired a 548 for 5th overall and Jalan Martin rolled a 544 for 6th place.
Graham took 3rd in the tournament, followed by Urbana in 4th. Benjamin Logan came in 9th.
For the Hillclimbers, Jazmyn Scott was 8th with a 540.
Graham’s Kenzie Clark was 14th with a 498.
Benjamin Logan was led by Reece Plikerd with a 489.
Indian Lake, Graham, and Urbana will compete in the state bowling tournament on Friday, March 3rd.
In Division I action, Bellefontaine finished 5th in the sectional tournament at Poelking Woodman Lanes in Kettering Wednesday.
The Lady Chiefs finished with a team score of 3458.
Gracie Hood fired a 527, Kayla Watkins tallied a 524, Aubrey Hudson rolled a 511, and Chloe Heminger had a 506.
Bellefontaine will compete in the district tournament on Friday, March 3, at Beaver-Vu Bowl.
