Area high school bowling teams were in action Thursday night across multiple lanes, with Shawnee, Northwestern, and Fairbanks earning varsity victories behind strong individual performances and solid Baker play.

VARSITY BOYS — Shawnee 2905, Indian Lake 2166 (Victory Lanes)

The Shawnee boys bowling team rolled past Indian Lake on Thursday, posting a 2905–2166 win at Victory Lanes.

Indian Lake was led by steady efforts throughout the lineup, but Shawnee’s depth and consistent scoring in both the regular games and Baker play proved to be the difference.

VARSITY GIRLS — Indian Lake 2078, Shawnee 1922 (Victory Lanes)

The Indian Lake girls bowling team earned a league victory over Shawnee on Thursday, winning 2078–1922 at Victory Lanes.

Addison Castle led Indian Lake with a strong 195–192 series for 387. Kyleigh Castle followed with 328 (169–159), while Kacie Craft added 313. Chassy Dolan rolled 267, and Savannah Lamb finished with 255.

Indian Lake totaled 1550 pins in the regular games and added 528 pins in Baker competition to secure the win.

The Northwestern boys bowling team edged Graham in a high-scoring matchup Thursday night, pulling out a 2920–2863 victory at Southwest Bowling Center.

Graham was led by Caleb Vulgamore’s outstanding 214–257 series for 471. Johnathan Henry followed closely with 458 (225–233), while Andrew Clark rolled 447. Logan Pitsinger added 401, and Kole Bishop finished with 372.

Graham totaled 2149 pins in the regular games and added 714 pins in Baker play but came up just short.

The Graham girls bowling team battled Northwestern in a close contest Thursday before falling 2352–2279 at Southwest Bowling Center.

Kelsey Weinert paced Graham with a 226–222 series for 448. Jayna Weinert added 339 (166–173), while Lylee Nokes rolled 311. Addalynn “Addy” Heaston posted 158, Ellissa “Ellie” Heaston added 146, Mariah Holton rolled 126, and Chloe Owen finished with 124.

Graham recorded 1652 pins in the regular games and added 627 pins in Baker play.

The Fairbanks boys bowling team claimed a tri-match victory Thursday night at Goshen Lanes, finishing ahead of Triad and Northeastern.

Triad was led by Hayden Sheppeard with a 112–177 series for 289. Erron Donohoe followed with 288 (143–145), while Chris Vallette added 263. Mason Malone rolled 250, and Caden Organ finished with 225.

Triad assumed 1315 pins in the regular games and added 531 pins in Baker play.

Triad was led by Isabella Russell’s strong 181–247 series for 428. Adyson Feasel added 268 (103–165), while Kylie Vallette rolled 236. Natalie Burton posted 225, and Leslie Holbrook finished with 164.

Triad totaled 1321 pins in the regular games and added 494 pins in Baker play.
