Several local teams were there.The top eight included Mechanicsburg (3rd), Indian Lake (6th), and Graham (8th).The Bellefontaine Lady Chieftains punched their ticket to the Division I State Bowling Tournament yesterday by finishing 2nd at the district meet. Kayla Watkins led the way with a 561 series. Gracie Hood had a 534, Aubrey Hudson rolled a 525, Leyla Johnson had a 515, and Chloe Hemminger shot a 498.The Lady Chiefs will bowl in the Division I State Tournament next weekend in Columbus. This is the third girls bowling team from Bellefontaine to qualify for state.
