Area high school bowling teams were in action Wednesday night, with Indian Lake and Mechanicsburg both picking up varsity victories in league play. Indian Lake swept North Union at TP Lanes, while Mechanicsburg earned dominant wins over Madison Plains at Goshen Lanes behind strong individual performances and consistent Baker scoring.

VARSITY BOYS — Indian Lake 2564, North Union 2538 (TP Lanes)

The Indian Lake boys bowling team edged North Union in a tightly contested matchup Wednesday night, pulling out a 2564–2538 win at TP Lanes behind consistent regular-game scoring and steady Baker play.

Jeremiah Galbraith led Indian Lake with a strong 204–215 series for 419. Kaleb Galbraith followed closely with 388 (203–185), while Brody Black added 372. Orion Reames contributed a 174 game, Gabe Stidam rolled 152, Sub Varsity added 151, and Cody Jacobs finished with 134.

Indian Lake totaled 1790 pins during the regular games and sealed the victory by adding 774 pins in Baker competition.

The Indian Lake girls bowling team earned a convincing win over North Union on Wednesday, rolling to a 2210–1695 victory at TP Lanes.

Addison Castle paced Indian Lake with a 200–163 series for 363. Kyleigh Castle followed with 342 (142–200), while Savannah Lamb rolled 309. Kacie Craft added 304, and Chassy Dolan finished with 301.

Indian Lake posted 1619 pins in the regular games and added 591 pins in Baker play to secure the win.

Matthew Dean led Mechanicsburg with an outstanding 221–230 series for 451. Chase Trainer followed closely with 445 (243–202), while Maxwell Popovich rolled 383. Ethan Schaffner contributed a 198 game, Jeffrey Bryant added 180, and Tristen Mason finished with 175.

Mechanicsburg totaled 1832 pins in the regular games to secure the win.

The Mechanicsburg girls’ bowling team earned a decisive victory over Madison Plains on Wednesday, posting a 2491–1394 win.

Ashton Waller led the way with a 200–191 series for 391. Mckenzi Picklesimer and Briana Popovich each rolled a series of 387, with Picklesimer posting 186–201 and Popovich rolling 184–203. Kenzie Chester added 330, and Haley Alty finished with 296.

Mechanicsburg totaled 1791 pins in the regular games and added 700 pins in Baker play.
