The Cross Country season is officially underway, and the Lakers kicked things off with a solid performance at the Milton-Union Invitational on Saturday.
Varsity Girls finished 8th overall, led by standout efforts from:
- Reagan Rash (36th, 22:28),
- Laura Metzger (64th, 23:18), and
- Evie Wagner (70th, 23:24),
who each earned place ribbons.
Other strong performances came from:
- Kayleigh Taylor (81st, 23:55)
- Alicia Brielmaier (101st, 24:38)
- Haley Metzger (149th, 26:08)
- Olivia Albert (217th, 31:22)
- Lara Hagedorn (218th, 31:26)
Varsity Boys placed 18th, paced by:
- Will Faler (78th, 19:08)
- Nathan White (85th, 19:13)
- Aiden Stinebaugh (102nd, 19:34)
- Cason Lacher (132nd, 19:58)
- Titus Kelly (147th, 20:20)
Middle School Lakers also made their mark.
Abby Bihn (15th, 13:23, tied PR) and Hayden Kuhlke (65th, 13:13) both earned place ribbons.
