Lakers, Pirates fall; WL-S sweeps Triad – Tuesday basketball scores

Area basketball teams hit the court Tuesday.

The Indian Lake varsity boys lost to London 61-51.

The Lakers fall to 3-1.

Urbana fell to Dayton Carroll 43-37.

Aiden Bradshaw led the Hillclimbers with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. Jonathan Hildebrand pitched in 10 points.

Urbana drops to 3-1.

Riverside’s varsity boys lost to Troy Christian 66-45.

Kaleb Schindelwolf led the Pirates with 11 points and Ayden Clary recorded 8 points and 7 rebounds.

The West Liberty-Salem varsity boys defeated Triad 47-29.

For the Tigers, Taran Logwood led with 12 points, Brevin Louden and Isaiah Reames each scored 9 points, and Carson Poppe poured in 6 points.

WL-S improves to 3-2 (3-1 OHC).

The Tigers won the JV game 52-29.

Caleb Hershberger led with 15 points and JJ Johnson chipped in with 12 points.

West Liberty-Salem’s freshman team ran past Triad 40-20.

Gaven Nance and Sam Strapp paced the Tigers with 9 points apiece.

The Tigers will travel to Northeastern Friday.

Northeastern ran past Mechanicsburg 52-31.

From Monday, Calvary Christian’s varsity boys dropped a close one to Temple Christian 62-60.

Ezra Davie led the Spartans with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals, Patrick James scored 15 points, 7 boards, 2 steals, and 1 block, Wyatt Schlatter added 13 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 1 steal, Kaden Downey pitched in 8 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist, Ephraim Daniels chipped in 2 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, and 1 steal, and Evan Patton recorded 1 rebound, 1 assist and 4 steals.

Middle School:

The Indian Lake 7th-grade girls topped Graham 36-12.

Alivia Kinney led the Lakers with 16 points and Madison Davis chipped in with 12 points.

The 8th-grade Lady Lakers lost to Graham 44-24.

Addy Roby paced Indian Lake with 9 points and Courtney Altstaetter poured in 8 points.

The Riverside 7th-grade girls defeated Covington 14-11.

For the Pirates, Kenzie Stotler led with 7 points, Chloe Purtee had 6 points, and Molly Carman added 1 point and 6 rebounds.

The 7th-grade Pirates are 4-3 (4-2 conference).

In the 8th-grade game, Riverside beat Covington 26-16.

Leading the way was Kenna Johnson with 13 points and Keira Manahan pulled down 10 rebounds.

Also scoring for Riverside was Miah Carman with 5 points and Emilee Robinson and Madelyn Lemly each scored 4 points.

The 8th-grade Lady Pirates improve to 7-0 (6-0 conference).
