Lakers track teams compete in Lima Shawnee Invite

Indian Lake competed at the Lima Shawnee Invitational on Friday. The boys’ team placed fifth and the girls’ team placed fourth.

In the girls’ meet:

Ava Faler was first in high jump (5-0), long jump (15-8), and fourth in pole vault (7-6).

Reagan Rash was first in the 800 (2:30) and second in the 1600 (5:43.9).

Maddie Miller was first in discus (105-10) and sixth in shot put (29-6)

Addison Beck was second in the 100 m dash (13.47) and fourth in the 200 m dash (27.44).

The 4×800 relay team of Reagan Rash, Evie Wagner, Myiah Ankrom, and Cameron Finfrock took third place (11:16.95), and the same quartet was third in the 4×400 relay (4:26).

Terra Beltz was fifth in shot put (30-1)

Haley Metzger was seventh in the 3200 (14:24)

Cameron Finfrock was seventh in the 400 m (1:06.56)

Evie Wagner was seventh in the 1600 m run (6:06 PR)

The 4×200 relay team of Karsyn Newkirk, Chloe Wade, Piper Warnecke, and Hailey Prater was seventh (2:01), and the same team was eighth in the 4×100 (57.19)

Myiah Ankrom was eighth in the 400 m (1:06.75)

Kayleigh Taylor was eighth in the 3200 (14:40)

For the Lakers boys:

Gavin Henry was first in the 110 hurdles (15.77), second in the 300 hurdles (42.31), and seventh in high jump (5-4)

Christopher Timms was second in the shot put (47-4)

Aiden Stinebaugh was fourth in the 800 m run (2:08 PR)

Will Faler was fourth in pole vault (10-0)

The 4×800 relay team of Aiden Stinebaugh, Carson Clary, Cason Lacher, and Silas Holbrook placed fourth (8:56)

The 4×400 relay team of Aiden Stinebaugh, Carson Clary, Silas Holbrook, and Everett Wischmeyer placed fourth (3:37)

The 4×100 relay team of Silas Holbrook, Gavin Henry, KeShawn Blackwell, and Cameron Freyhof placed fourth (46.0)

Franklin Kinney was sixth in discus (121-8) and seventh in shot put (40-4)

Jacob Freyhof was sixth in the 400 m (54.69)

The 4×200 relay team of Cameron Finfrock, Jacob Freyhof, Wes Campbell, and Isaac Galbraith was sixth (1:37)

Wyatt Whitsett was eighth in the high jump (5-4)

Colin Bendler was eighth in the pole vault (8-0)

Up next, the Lakers host the Lakers Invitational at home on Thursday, May 4. The seniors will be recognized at 4:30, field events start at 4:45, and running events start at 5:45.
