Area bowling teams were in action Wednesday.
The Benjamin Logan varsity girls defeated Northwestern 2,080 – 1,923.
Leading the way for the Lady Raiders was Ellie Heim (Hi-em) with a 370 series (166, 204), Malori Barnes fired a 323 series (151, 172), Jenna Peterson rolled a 295 (162, 133), and Hunter McColloch added a 168 game.
Benjamin Logan will hit the lanes again on Monday, December 19th at 4 p.m. at TP Lanes and Tuesday, December 20th at Dragon Lanes in Marysville at 4 p.m.
The Raider boys varsity team edged past Northwestern 2,762 – 2,665.
Benjamin Logan was led by Jarrett Buckenroth who bowled a personal high 471 series (235, 236), Nate Davis tallied a 450 series (182, 268), Gage Hamm fired a 389 series (177, 212), and Max Manning contributed a 200 game.
The Raiders are now 5-2 in the CBC.
Benjamin Logan will return to action Monday, hosting Kenton Ridge at TP Lanes at 4 p.m.
The Indian Lake varsity girls fell to Urbana 2,105 – 2,380.
Leading the way for the Lady Lakers was Samantha Johnson with a 338 series (159, 179). Kayleigh Zedlitz pitched in with a 191 game, and Andi Miller rolled personal high games and series tonight with a 144 and a 146 for a 290.
Indian Lake is back in action Friday when they host North Union at TP Lanes starting at 4 p.m.
