As the season is rapidly ending, several students are performing at their best on the links.
The Graham Lady Falcons traveled to Liberty Hills to play Bellefontaine on September 12, 2024. Graham with another win coming in 174-225.
Zoey Merritt shot 3 under Par with a score of 32. Riley Donnelly scored a 44. Kailey Dowty shot a 45 and Grace Bowers with a 52.
Senior Mackenzie Clark with a 54 and Cadence Woods shot a 69. Ellayna Little scored a 54.
The Lady Riverside Pirates bested Northeastern 218 – 238 at the National Golf Links.
Reagan McDaniel was a medalist with a 42. Other scores include:

The Boy Tigers of West Liberty-Salem saw their regular season end on Thursday against West Jefferson. The Tigers had career-low scores by Aiden Taylor, Carter Henderson, and Silas McCombs. The Tigers ended their season with a record of 7-9.
The Tigers honored the success of the 6 seniors: Aiden Taylor, Luke Thomas, Greyson Horsley, Teagon Miller, Owen Barger, and Collin Thompson.
They have worked hard to rebuild the Tiger golf team and their presence and leadership will be missed.
The Tigers play their sectional tournament on Wednesday, September 18 at Reid Park and will compete in the OHC Tournament on September 26 at Springfield Elks.
The Benjamin Logan Raiders Boys Golf team participated this week in two Mad River Division matches.
On Tuesday, September 10, the Raiders hosted Northwestern at Liberty Hills, losing the match 153 to 209.
Caleb Knight led the Raiders for the match, shooting a 48 and scoring 2 points.
Justin Elliot shot a 50, scoring 1 point. Ivan King shot a 52, Drake Newland a 59, Matthew Cox a 60, and Utah Coleman a 64 to round out the scoring.
On Thursday, the Raiders traveled to Prairie View Golf Course to play Indian Lake, losing the match 169 to 190.
Caleb Knight shot a 42 to pace the Raiders, scoring 6 points. Justin Elliot shot a 47, scoring 2.5 points. Ivan King shot a 49 and scored .5 points. Drake Newland shot a 52, Matthew Cox shot a 55, and Utah Coleman a 56 to complete the scoring.
The Raider’s last CBC league match is Monday when they travel to Reid Park in Springfield for a match against Shawnee.
