Three area volleyball programs saw their postseason runs come to an end Monday night after hard-fought district semifinal matchups, each leaving it all on the court to cap impressive seasons.
The Indian Lake varsity squad wrapped up a stellar season with a tough four-set loss to Oakwood in the Division IV district semifinal: 22–25, 25–22, 25–10, 26–24.
Cami Bailey led the way for the Lakers with 16 kills, 19 digs, and a perfect 10-for-10 from the service line.
Courtney Altstaetter added 12 kills and 2 blocks, while Mackenzie Miller tallied 7 kills and 15 digs.
Annie Rapp contributed 3 kills, 2 blocks, 7 digs, and was flawless from the line at 13-for-13.
Other strong performances came from Alivia Kinney (2 kills, 2 blocks), Addyson Beck (18 digs, 8-for-8 serving), Riley Ross (12 digs), and Makenna Hurley (7 digs, 6-for-6 serving).
Setter Addyson Roby was outstanding with 36 assists, 15 digs, 2 kills, 1 block, and a perfect 16-for-16 serving effort with one ace.
Indian Lake finishes an excellent season with a 19–5 record.
The Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders gave it everything they had in a Division IV district semifinal showdown against Bethel at Xenia High School.
After a marathon back-and-forth battle, the Raiders ultimately fell in five sets: 25–19, 28–26, 27–29, 21–25, 15–4.
Despite the loss, the Lady Raiders showcased tremendous heart and resilience, pushing the match to the limit and giving fans plenty to cheer for all season long.

The West Liberty-Salem Tigers also saw their postseason come to a close in dramatic fashion, dropping a five-set thriller to Anna in the Division III district semifinals at Trotwood.
The Tigers rallied from an early deficit before narrowly falling 25–21, 25–16, 25–27, 19–25, 15–10.
Leading the charge for WL-S were Naomi Cole with 14 kills, 10 digs, and 3 blocks, and Ava Poppe, who filled the stat sheet with 10 kills, 10 digs, 4 blocks, and 5 aces.
Lilli Heminger added 12 kills, 5 digs, 6 blocks, and 2 aces, while Reese Winters chipped in 7 kills, 5 digs, and 3 blocks.
Setting duties were shared between Lyndee Harrison (18 assists, 4 digs, 1 ace) and Sophia Landon (16 assists, 10 digs). On defense, Reagan Winters anchored the back row with 18 digs and a strong 21-of-24 on serve receive.
The Tigers finish their season at 20–4 — a testament to their grit, teamwork, and competitive spirit.
WL-S also celebrated its seniors — Ava, Addie, Lyndee, and Naomi — thanking them for their leadership and dedication throughout their careers.

All three programs end their seasons with pride, having represented their schools and communities with heart, skill, and determination throughout the tournament run.
