The Indian Lake Boys Wrestling team competed at Saturday’s Sectional tournament in Covington.
The Lakers earned third place as a team, sending several wrestlers through to the district meet.
Owen Pummel and Dylan Valerio led the way by winning their weight class.
Ke’Shawn Blackwell, Adrian Crumley, Ryan Culp, Jackson Young, Czar Dickson, and Draden Stevenson advanced.
The Lady Lakers placed in the top four at the Pre-Regional wrestling tournament in Findlay.
Augusta Biederman and Riley Shaner were champions.
Tori Roby and Maddie Miller placed 2nd.
Isabel Brunson and Kiylee Haude came in 3rd, and Shannyn Brunson was 4th.
All will advance to the Regionals in Marysville this weekend.
Benjamin Logan traveled to Graham High School to compete in the DII Southwest Sectional tournament.
The Raiders finished Sectional Runner-Up and now move 11 wrestlers onto the DII Southwest District held at Wilmington High School Friday.

Bellefontaine’s High School Wrestling Team competed at the Division 2 Sectional Tournament on Saturday at Graham High School and qualified two individuals to next week’s district meet.
DISTRICT QUALIFIERS:

- 138 – Zane Tevis 4th
SECTIONAL PLACER:
- 120 – Jeffery Smith 6th
Also winning matches were Nicholas Beair, Ricky Smiley, Wes Morris, & Zavier May.
The top four in each weight class advanced.
The Division 2 Southwest District Tournament is at Wilmington HS on Friday & Saturday.
