The Logan County 14U Baseball Team took 2nd place at The Brick City Wood Bat Tournament this past weekend at Action Sports.
In pool play, they beat the Ohio Baseball Club 4-3 with Jaxon Snipes taking the win on the mound and Cooper Crouch going 2-3 at the plate.
They played again and beat the South Dayton S.W.A.T. 7-0. Braden Hershberger picked up the win and Sutton Daring, Tyler Tidwell, and Tucker Searles each had hits.
They started Sunday’s tournament playing the Destroyers and beating them 6-2. Crouch took the win on the mound and Hershberger was 2-3 at the plate.
In the semi-finals, they beat the Dayton Ducks 8-0. Brady Golliday, Conner Leichty, Tidwell, Snipes, and Hershberger had hits and Tidwell was the winning pitcher.
They fell short in the championship game 6-3 to Flash Colvin. Carson Vesey, Snipes, and Tidwell had hits and Snipes took the loss on the mound.
