Logan County Baseball team wins Midwest Tournament Super Regional — Other Finals

The Logan County Baseball 14U team won the Midwest Tournament Super Regional this weekend.

They went 2-0 in pool play and beat Defiance Bulldogs and the Central Ohio Fire.

They were seeded #2 going into bracket play Sunday defeating the Berserkers and Ohio Thunder.

Against the Berserkers, Jaxon Snipes got the win. He went 7 innings allowing zero runs and 1 hit, striking out 8.

Tyler Tidwell and Carson Vesey managed 1 hit each to lead the team to a 5-0 victory.

In the championship game, Cooper Crouch took the win. The righty surrendered 3 runs on 4 hits over 5 and 2/3 innings striking out 6.

The team totaled 12 hits in the game. Tidwell, Vesey, Crouch, Sutton Daring, and Brady Golliday managed multiple hits beating Ohio Thunder 15-8.

 

In County Little League, Huntsville 1 Jackson Grain Systems beat East Liberty/Middleburg Pops Pizza 21-0.

Mason Berg and Ross Tidwell handled the pitching for Huntsville combining for a one-hit shutout.

Offensively Tidwell powered the offense with 3 hits and 5 RBIs including a home run.

Nixon Lillard also added 3 hits, 4 RBIs, and added a triple.

 

In 10U Softball, Huntsville 2- Jackson Grain Systems defeated Indian Lake 12-0 in 3 innings.

Hailee Shoenberger, Julie Wolf, and Ivy Kaser all scored twice.

Raelyn Hoge had a nice hit that resulted in a double. She also struck out 3 when in the circle.

Huntsville 2 plays Wednesday at 6:00 pm vs Ridgemont #1 in Huntsville.

 

West Liberty Thomans IGA improves to 2-0 after defeating Bellefontaine-3 by a score of 9-2.

Delaney Morris earned the victory in the circle striking out 9.

Zoey Richardson lead the offense going 2-2 with a double and RBI while both Siri Monroe and Harper Patton went 1-2 on the day.

Patton also added an RBI.
