Thursday, he secured a spot in the finals of the World Cup of Halfpipe Snowboarding held in Mammoth Mountain, CA, an event also recognized as a Grand Prix competition.
The competition featured an impressive lineup of world-class snowboarders, with the Japanese team particularly standing out with four athletes advancing to the finals. Vito’s remarkable career boasts six Grand Prix victories and four overall championship titles.
Despite being the elder statesman of the professional snowboard tour, his extensive experience and relentless dedication to keeping fit, have kept him competitive for nearly two decades.
