The Mad River United FC 12U Boys had a challenging start to their weekend on Saturday, when they lost 0-4 to the Classic Eagle Vipers.
However, the team bounced back on Sunday in their match against the Delaware Knights.
The boys found themselves trailing 4-2 at halftime but came back strong in the second half.
They shut out the Knights in the final 45 minutes and secured a 5-4 victory.
With teamwork, moving into open areas, and making great passes, they earned their first win of the season.
The goals came from Luman Lambert, who scored twice, along with Tommy Brannon, Owen Bayliss, and Max Millis.
