Mad River United FC U18 girls face tough loss

On Wednesday, the Mad River United FC U18 girls soccer team played against Elite FC in Bellefontaine, falling 7-0.

The game saw Rissa Bates making 11 saves in the first half, with Elite FC taking a 2-0 lead at the break.

Bates continued her strong performance in goal before being replaced by Madison Freeland in the second half.

Freeland recorded 2 saves before an injury forced her out, allowing Bates to step back in and add 6 more saves before the final whistle.

Despite a solid effort from the keepers, Elite FC dominated the game, finishing with a 7-0 victory.
