Riverside 4, Graham 2

Riverside used early offense and a dominant all-around performance from Keira Manahan to defeat Graham 4-2, bumping the Pirates to 3-3 on the season while Graham falls to 2-2.

Manahan set the tone immediately, leading off the bottom of the first with a solo home run to center field to give the Pirates a 1-0 lead. Lexi Baker drew a walk to bring in one run, and another scored on an error in the next at-bat to cut the deficit to 4-2. Manahan responded by striking out the final batter of the inning, part of a 10-strikeout performance in a complete game effort.

Sizemore led Graham with two hits, while Baker reached base three times. Riverside saw balanced production with five different hitters recording hits and four players driving in runs or scoring.

Northeastern added another run in the fourth, capitalizing on a defensive error, before breaking the game open in the fifth.
