The Indian Lake 8th grade girl’s team lost to London 29-23 on Thursday.

Leading the Lakers was Rya Pequignot with 11 points and 5 steals.

Brylee Buyer scored 5 points and had 5 rebounds.

Madison Davis scored 4 points and Alivia Kinney had 3 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.

The Lady Lakers will play on Saturday at home versus Riverside with the 7th grade game starting at 10:00.

 

The 8th-grade Indian Lake boys won against London 31-21.

Leading the Lakers was Reid Strayer netting 10 points.

 

The 7th grade Lady Raiders overcame the adversity of missing one of their leaders and came away with a big win on the road vs Shawnee 27-26.

Everyone on the team contributed to the scorebook and on the floor which was needed in Rodenberger’s absence.

8th grade came out slow and was down 11-2 at the end of 1st quarter.

Shawnee made timely buckets and plays to thwart the Raiders’ comeback as they fell short on the road 35-32.

The 7th-grade West Liberty-Salem Lady Tigers fell to Fairbanks 35-29.

West Liberty-Salem 8th-grade girls defeated Fairbanks in double overtime 30-28.

The 7th grade Lady Chiefs used a strong defensive effort to defeat Tecumseh 34-12, Thursday on the road.

The Lady Chiefs collected 19 steals with Mia Brown, Paxton Stewart, and Cameo Green combing for 16 steals in the win.

Mia Brown and Cameo Greene scored 11 and 10 points while Rylee Crabtree netted 8 on the evening.

Lexey Brown and Allie Myers rounded out the scoring for Bellefontaine.

Leading the 7th grade in rebounds were Mia and Lexey Brown combing for 14 rebounds.

The 7th grade improves to 7-3 on the year and will host Northwestern next Thursday night.

The 8th grade Lady Chiefs lost a barn burner this evening, 24-26 against Tecumseh.

The effort and grit to keep fighting till the end was awesome.

A not-so-solid third quarter was the difference in the game but the Chiefs fought till the final seconds.

Leading in scoring was Joy Fogan with 8 points and hauling down 7 rebounds.

Tabby Thomas also added 8 points.

Hailey Augustus chipped in with three.

Vanessa Friedrich added 2 points.

Ava Oppy added 1 point and grabbed 8 rebounds.

Sloan Stolly added 2 points and grabbed 5 steals also playing solid defense causing several turnovers.

 

Riverside Jr. High boys traveled to Milton Union Thursday night and split both games with the Bulldogs.

The first game saw Milton Union come away with a 41-16 victory.

Corbin Reed led Riverside with 5 points.

In the 2nd game, the Pirates reversed their fortunes by beating the Bulldogs 46-19.

Brody Orsborne led Riverside with 19 points and Justin Hurley chipped in 18.

Gunner Carpenter controlled the glass by grabbing 15 rebounds and tossing in 5 points.

 

The Urbana 8th-grade boy’s basketball team defeated Jon Alder 55-41.

Drew Dixon with 23 and Case Teepe with 14 points.

Urbana’s 7th grade team defeated Jon Alder 34-26.

Carter Houseman with 12 points.
