The West Liberty-Salem Middle School cross country teams had a standout performance at the Ohio Caverns Invitational on Saturday, with both the boys and girls teams finishing strong.

Boys Team Highlights

The boys team was led by Aydan Knox, who secured 1st place out of 111 runners with a time of 11:16. The team finished as the runner-up, just behind Beavercreek. Other notable individual performances included:

Bellefontaine Middle School Results

The BMS girls cross country team achieved an impressive 5th place finish out of 16 teams at the Celtic Clash, the highest all-time team finish for the Chieftains at this event. Chloe O’Chocke led with a season-best time of 14:06, finishing 17th overall. Other notable finishers included:

The BMS boys team placed 6th out of 16 teams, with Andrew Myers earning a top-15 medal with a personal best of 11:55, finishing 14th. Additional placements included:

Benjamin Logan Middle School Results

Benjamin Logan’s girls cross country team placed 5th out of 15 schools, led by Paislee Rodenberger in 27th place with a time of 15:56. Other key performances included:

– 40th: Mckinley Allen – 16:41

The boys team secured 6th place out of 12 schools, led by Kayden VanBuskirk in 65th with a time of 15:15.

Both teams will race next at the Indian Lake Invitational next Saturday, showcasing the growing talent across middle school cross-country programs in the area.
