Middle School Cross Country:Bellefontaine, Indian Lake & West Liberty-Salem

Anna hosted middle school students for an invitational on Saturday.

The Bellefontaine Middle School Girls XC team brought home the 4th place award in a field of 23 competing teams.

There were 145 runners in the race.

The top 50 awards went to Sloan Stolly, Chloe O’Chocke, Leila Hammond, Cameo Greene, and Lexi Lamb.

Personal best times were run by O’Chocke (14:08), Hammond (14:11), Lamb (14:52), and Blakely Vollrath (15:17).

The BMS Boys placed 5th out of 23 teams Saturday.

The top 50 awards went to Landon Rister, Caleb Sechrest, and Liam Scott.

Personal Best Times was run by Sechrest (12:41), Scott (12:46), and Brayten Swisher (16:58).

The Indian Lake Middle School girls ran the 3200 m run and were led by Allison Overmyer in 25th place (14:18 PR).

Laura Metzger was 34th (14:33), Karlee Taylor was 118th (17:27), and Emma Taylor was 130th (18:35).

In the 1-mile race, 6th grader Aubre Walton finished at 11:20.

In the 1/2-mile elementary race, 1st grader Charlie Haubert finished in 5:07, 3rd grader Xander Huffman crossed the line at 5:17, Layna Huffman (Kdg) was 5:20, Jackson Fletxher (2nd grade) was 5:21 and Andrew Haubert (Kdg) was 5:24.

 

The West Liberty-Salem Middle School Big Orange cross country team competed Saturday at the Lion’s Coldwater Invitational.

The boys were 1st out of 16 teams.
