The 7th grade Lady Chiefs fell to North Union Saturday 29-14.
Leading the scoring for the Chiefs was Cameo Greene with 5 points and 2 assists.
Lexey Brown, Mia Brown, and Paxton Stewart combined for 9 points for Bellefontaine.
Mia Brown grabbed 8 rebounds and collected 6 steals while Lexey Brown grabbed 5 rebounds and blocked 2 shots.
The 7th grade falls to 3-1 on the year and will host Graham at home Monday night.
The 8th grade Lady Chiefs played a gritty game at North Union Saturday morning falling 28-14.
The Ladies were tied 14-14 late in the 3rd Quarter before North Union pulled away late.
Leading the 8th grade Lady Chiefs was Sloan Stolly with 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Bellefontaine used a balanced attack with 5 girls scoring.
Vanessa Friedrich, Ximena Marquez Diaz, and Hailey Augustus gave good minutes with strong defense.
Tabby Thomas, Joy Fogan, and Amari Hunsicker were tough on the glass collecting 10 rebounds combined.
The 8th grade will host Graham on Monday night.
The Indian Lake 7th grade girl’s basketball team defeated Jackson Center 24-18.
The Lakers were led by Laura Metzger who scored 13 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
Kyler Carruthers scored 7 points, had 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
Makayle Clary and Makinzie Johnson scored 2 points each.
The 8th grade Lady Lakers won 22-16 over Jackson Center.
Brylee Buyer scored 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds, Rya Pequignot scored 6 points and had 4 steals, Alivia Kinney had 4 points and 5 rebounds, Madison Davis scored 4 points and had 4 rebounds and Bre Wisener scored 2 points, had 4 rebounds, and 3 steals.
The Lakers will play Ben Logan at home on Monday with the 7th grade game starting at 5:30.
The 7th grade Ben Logan girls race past Riverside 45-15, leading the way for the Raiders was Brielle Kline with 15, Addi Rutherford with 14, and Hayden McCoy had a big game on the boards for the Raiders.
The 8th grade Ben Logans girls were stifled by The lady Pirates zone and lost 31-15.
Brileigh Burnside paces the Raiders with 7.
Doyle had 11 for the victorious pirates.
