Many local junior high team showed off their talents on the volleyball court on Monday evening.
Benjamin Logan met North Union in the CBC play.
The 8th-grade Raiders earned a three-set win by scores of 25-21, 11-25, and 25-22. They finished with team totals of 11 kills, 10 assists, 8 aces, and 7 digs.
The 7th-grade Raiders dropped their match in straight sets, 25-10, 25-16. They totaled 6 kills, 4 assists, 3 aces, 30 digs, and 1 block.


The Bellefontaine Middle School Lady Chiefs traveled to London.
The 8th-grade Lady Chiefs fell in two sets, 25-14, 25-16.
Leaders were Alexis Hogan with 3 assists, 6 digs, and 6-for-6 serving, and Gianna Davis with 8 digs, 2 kills, and 6-for-8 serving.

The 7th-grade Lady Chiefs fell in three competitive sets, 25-23, 25-22, 25-19.
Skylar Phan paced the team with 13 digs, 2 assists, and a perfect 14-for-14 serving. Arianna Rumer added 3 assists, 3 digs, 4 kills, and 11-for-11 serving, while Braelynn Neer had 6 digs, 4 kills, and 8-for-9 serving.

Riverside wrapped up its season against Covington.
In the 8th-grade match, Bella Robinson led the Pirates with 10 points, 5 aces, and a tip, while Lillian Jackson added 3 points and 2 aces.

The 7th-grade Pirates felpulled out a three-set win, led by Kinsley Crawford with 10 points and 5 aces. Ruth Morrison chipped in 7 points and 2 aces, while Bella Monnin added 6 points, an ace, and a kill.

The 7th-grade Lady Tigers defeated Fairbanks Monday evening in continued success with a 25-16, 23-25, 25-20 three-set victory.
The Tigers continued their excellent determination to improve and pushed their record to 7-10 overall.
Excellent teamwork led to the following team stats:

WLS 8th-grade Lady Tigers finished the night in a three-set match, 25-17, 15-25, and 25-14.
Continuing to battle injuries, the Tigers were able to pull together and persevere, running their record to an impressive 15-2 on the season.
