Monday Night Softball: Benjamin Logan, Riverside, Bellefontaine & West Liberty-Salem


Benjamin Logan beat Northwestern in conference play 1-0 on Monday night.

The Lady Raiders had players on base in five different innings and finally capitalized in the bottom of the fifth.

Bailee Stover was able to draw a walk and Brooks Myers smacked a double to score the Raiders one run that would eventually win the game.

Adding hits to the Raiders’ offense were Tanna Jacobs with two, and Kyndal Cronkleton and Libby Siefring each with one.

Chloe Crumm earned the shutout win on the mound allowing only one hit and striking out 10 batters.

The Lady Raiders will host Graham Tuesday to finish two and a third innings of a postponed game followed by a second full game.

The games will begin at 5:15 pm.


Riverside JV Lady Pirates got a win over Miami East Monday night 14-11.

Riverside JV had a great defensive night on the field.

Zoey Ransbottom had an outstanding night going 4-5 with 3 RBIs, a double, and 3 singles.

Emilee Robinson went 2-2 with a SAC Bunt and a pick-off at third to end the game behind the plate.

Avery Perk also had 6 strikeouts on the mound.


The Lady Chiefs defeated visiting Urbana 12-0 in five innings.

The battery of Averie Vigansky (P) and Laila Butler (C) recorded 8 strikeouts in the shutout win.

Offensively Laila Butler went 3-3 with a double, Kassi Prine 2-3 with a double, Airiana Young 2-3 with a double, Rianna Fullerton 2-4, Alexza Clifton 2-4 with a double, and Addison Wical 2-4 with a triple.

The Lady Chiefs will play at home tomorrow (4/16) against Jackson Center.

T JV Chiefs fell to Minster 2-3 Monday.

Offensively, they were led by Alayna Boyd who went 2 for 3 and stole two bases.

Maci Flesher and Courtney Knight each drove in runs.

JV is back on the field at Bellbrook on Tuesday at 5 pm.


The Lady Tigers lost to Mechanicsburg 11-1.

Brielle Milliron and Audrey Collins each recorded a hit while Milliron scored the lone run.

The Tigers travel to Mechanicsburg on Tuesday.
