Mounce, Nicol named CBC Players of the Year in basketball

The Central Buckeye Conference (CBC) recently announced their all-league honors for high school boys and girls basketball.

Girls:

Mad River Division:

Urbana’s Peyton Mounce was named Player of the Year. Throughout the season, Mounce led in all but two categories in the CBC. She was the league’s top scorer with 18 points per game (PPG), averaged 6 assists per game (APG), pulled down roughly 13 rebounds per game (RPG), and averaged 3 blocks per game (BPG).

Indian Lake’s Caiden Nicol was named Player of the Year. On the season, Nicol averaged a double-double with 19.7 PPG and 10.2 RPG. He also led the league in assists with 6 per game.
