Mad River United FC Pink played in the Ohio Champions League Spring Tournament in Hilliard this past weekend.
Saturday they played Classic Eagles Chilli Peppers and lost 0-1. Pink then took on Johnstown FC and won 3-1.
Jazmine McGue scored twice and was assisted by Violet Dunham and Lilly Dunham also added a goal.
Sunday MRUFC took on Wildcats SC and came away with another win 3-1.
Violet Dunham started the scoring for Pink with an assist from Ruby Johns.
Payton Eckard added a goal with Jazmine McGue scoring off another Ruby Johns assist for a 3-1 win.
MRUFC Pink placed 1st in their pool to move on to the final which they took on Upper Arlington United.
After a scoreless first half, UAU was able to find the back of the net in the second for the 1-0 win.
MRUFC finished 2nd in the Stripes 3 division for Mad River United FC’s first tourney placement.
