The Chieftain swimmers delivered an outstanding performance at Sectionals on Friday and Saturday, with both the girls and boys teams posting a wave of personal-best times and earning multiple spots at the district meet.

Nearly 70 percent of Bellefontaine’s swims resulted in new personal records, and several others were within a second of previous bests — a testament to the team’s preparation and late-season progress.

District Qualifiers (District Seed)

  • Brooklyne Kuntz — Sectional Champion, 100 Butterfly (1st); 500 Freestyle (6th)

  • Kaeleigh Flora — 100 Butterfly (30th)
