Nothing but Net: Raiders, Cardinals, Spartans Defeat Opponents

The Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders played at home Monday night against Kenton.

The varsity lost 53 to 42 in a very physical game.

Leading the Raiders was Georgia Bates with 12 points, Mya Burrey and Rylan Norviel added 6 points each, and Kyndal Cronkleton pitched in 5 points.

This was their first loss of the season which makes them 4-1.

In the JV game, Ben Logan came out on top, 30-27.

Molly Siefring led the Raiders with 13 points, Kaylee Hayes added 8 points, and Aubrey Harris scored 5 points for the win.

JV is 2-1 on the season so far.

Ben Logan travels to Bellefontaine Wednesday night with JV starting at 6:00 pm.

Monday night Triad played at Fairlawn in a varsity-only contest and won 44-41.

For the Cardinals, Ashlyn McCoy had a double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds.

Mia LeMay had 9 points and 14 rebounds. Emma Ferguson had 9 points and 3 assists.

Kaley Nott had 4 assists and 5 rebounds.

Abbey Overfield had 5 points and 8 rebounds.

Triad plays at Fairbanks on Wednesday, JV tips at 6 pm.

 

The Calvary Lady Spartans won in their season opener by defeating Springfield Emmanuel Christian 47-23.

Abigail Reinhard led all scorers and recorded a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds.

Kari Gantz scored 13 points with 7 rebounds.

Madhuri Cook, KayLee Hurley, and Laileigh Beatty each netted 5 points.

Iva Wilson chipped in 3 points, and Kaylie Carter added 2 points.

The Spartans start their season 1-0.
