In tournament softball, Riverside won in the 10th inning against Fort Loramie in the District Final Friday night 2-1.
The Pirates trailed 1-0 in the bottom of the 7th and scored the tying run to force extra innings.
In the bottom of the 10th, Zoie Armbruster drove in the winning run.
Alaina Snow went all 10 innings only giving up 8 hits and struck out 12.
The Pirates will face Covington Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 in the Regional Semi-Final.
Benjamin Logan lost a heart breaker to Cleves Taylor 3-2 in 8 innings in the District Final.
The Raiders took a 2-1 lead to the top of the 7th. Taylor forced extra innings and scored again in the top of the 8th and held off the Raiders for the victory.
Jillian Plikerd went 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs for Benjamin Logan. The Raiders finish their season at 18-8.
