The Benjamin Logan Raiders Swim Team recently competed in a meet against St. Henry, Bluffton, and McComb High Schools, where both the men’s and women’s teams showed impressive performances.
The men’s team took home a first-place finish, while the women’s team secured second place.
Women’s Team Highlights:
- 200-Yard Medley Relay: 2nd place – Montana Coleman, Leah Braddock, Fiona Sweeney, Annika Schmidt.
- 200-Yard Freestyle: 2nd place – Fiona Sweeney.
- 50-Yard Freestyle: 3rd place – Leah Braddock.
- 500-Yard Freestyle: 2nd place – Kelley Forsythe.
- 100-Yard Breaststroke: 2nd place – Leah Braddock.
- 400-Yard Freestyle Relay: 2nd place – Annika Schmidt, Winnie Bodin, Lottie Bodin, Leah Braddock.
Men’s Team Highlights:
- 100-Yard Freestyle: 1st place – Liam Sweeney.
- 500-Yard Freestyle: 1st place – Liam Sweeney.
- 100-Yard Breaststroke: 1st place – Carter Daniels.
- 400-Yard Freestyle Relay: 2nd place – Jerrick Stephens, Levi Hanson, Taavo Simovart, Wyatt Gordon.
Both teams are gearing up for Sectional Tournaments this week.
The men’s team will compete on Friday at 6:30 PM at Trotwood Madison, while the women’s team will compete on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
Meanwhile, the Chieftain Swimmers wrapped up their regular season at the Red Devil Swimvitational, where the girls finished in 3rd place and the boys in 4th out of 9 teams.

- Elias Abrego: 1st place in 100 Fly, 1st place in 100 Free.
- Brooklyne Kuntz: 1st place in 200 Free, 2nd place in 100 Back.
- Kate Myers: 4th place in 200 IM, 11th place in 100 Fly.
- Emma Nieto: 6th place in 200 IM, 8th place in 100 Free.
The Chieftains will compete in Sectionals this Friday for the boys and Saturday for the girls, both at Trotwood-Madison High School.
