Raider boys fall to Kenton; Lady Tigers shutout Greeneview – Thursday soccer scores

Multiple soccer teams were in action Thursday.

The Benjamin Logan varsity boys lost to Kenton 5-0.

The Raiders trailed the Wildcats 1-0 at the half.

Kenton would score four goals in 10 minutes after halftime to put the game away.

The Benjamin Logan JV boys also lost to Kenton 4-1.

Jeremiah Gonzales scored the lone goal for the Raiders.

The West Liberty-Salem boys team shut out Greeneview 3-0.

Lance Campbell and Isaiah Reminder each scored a goal and DJ Yoder scored on a penalty kick.

Matthew Christison recorded an assist.

Carter Titus had five saves in goal.

The Tigers travel to Fairlawn Saturday for a noon start.

The West Liberty-Salem girls also shut out Greeneview 5-0.

Scoring for the Lady Tigers was Megan Hollar, Ivy Cline, Kayla Cole, Ava Johnson, and Tina Douthwaite.

Delaney Jones tallied two assists and Megan Hollar had one.

Delaney Wade recorded four saves.

WL-S is now 2-0 (1-0 OHC)

The Lady Tigers will travel to Miami East Saturday. JV starts at 1 p.m.

Youth Soccer

Thompson, Dunlap, and Heydinger Law defeated Manchester Farms 5-1.

For TDH Law, Fenix Walker scored two goals and tallied an assist, Jackson Lynch, Keaton Dinovo, and Kara Millis each scored. Lynch, Matthew Torsel, and William Jenkins all tallied an assist.

Defensively, Naomi Dearwester had five saves.

For Manchester Farms, Caleb Arbogast scored the lone goal.

Arbogast (3) and Carson Penhorwood (4) combined for seven saves.
