This past weekend, the Raiders and Chieftains swimming teams competed in the CBC Championships, showcasing incredible performances and earning top finishes.
The Ben Logan Raiders men’s swim team finished in 1st place out of 11 teams at the CBC Championships, while the women’s team placed 4th overall and finished 1st in the Mad River Division.

- 400 Yard Freestyle Relay: 3rd place – Dylan Vance, Utah Coleman, Jerrick Stephens, and Landon Braddock
The men’s team finished first overall, but due to by-law regulations regarding the number of swimmers needed to declare a champion, they cannot officially be crowned CBC Champions.
The Bellefontaine Chieftains also had an impressive showing at the CBC Championships, with the girls finishing runner-up with 192 points, just behind Jonathan Alder’s 258.
The boys finished 2nd overall as well, and Elias Abrego was awarded the CBC Swimmer of the Year honor.

In addition to their strong individual performances, the Chieftains had 34 season and personal best times, including significant improvements from swimmers in the 500-yard freestyle.
