Week 2 in high school football saw lopsided victories and a school record broken for a field goal.
98.3 WPKO Logan County Game of the Week
Benjamin Logan (1-1) 41, West Liberty-Salem (0-2) 13

Benjamin Logan picked up its first win of the season Friday night, beating West Liberty-Salem 41-13.
The Raiders got things started early when Jordan Pender broke loose for a 72-yard touchdown run. Benjamin Logan led 8-0 after the first quarter.
The Raiders added three more scores in the second quarter.
Brandon Heater connected on a 30-yard field goal before Rhett Newman scored on a one-yard touchdown run.
Heater then made some school history, drilling a 56-yard field goal to set a new Benjamin Logan school record. The kick gave the Raiders a 21-0 lead.
Benjamin Logan added another touchdown in the third quarter when Wyatt Predmore scored on an eight-yard run.
West Liberty-Salem finally got on the board in the fourth quarter. Beckett Sullivan connected with Bradel Sullivan for a one-yard touchdown, and Zade Bieleski added a four-yard touchdown run.
Benjamin Logan answered with two more scores. Adam Tinsman found Caiden Smitke for an eight-yard touchdown, and Pender added his second touchdown of the night on a four-yard run.
Pender led the Raiders with 223 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.
Predmore added 74 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries, while Tinsman rushed for 42 yards on six carries and completed three of seven passes for 24 yards.
Tinsman’s lone completion for a touchdown went to Smitke for eight yards.
For the Tigers, Beckett Sullivan completed 13 of 19 passes for 112 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Bradel Sullivan caught six passes for 62 yards and a touchdown.
Silas Krabill led West Liberty-Salem on the ground with 71 yards on 14 carries, while Bieleski added 49 yards and a touchdown on six carries.
Benjamin Logan improves to 1-1, while West Liberty-Salem falls to 0-2.
106.9 The Bull Champaign County Game of the Week
Urbana (2-0) 35, Mechanicsburg (1-1) 12

Urbana stayed perfect Friday night, coming from behind to beat Mechanicsburg 35-12 in the Champaign County matchup.
Mechanicsburg led 12-7, but the Hillclimbers took control in the second half, scoring 28 unanswered points to pull away.
Quarterback Grady Lantz led the Urbana offense. He threw for 175 yards and two touchdowns and also scored a touchdown on the ground.
Gio Torres added 55 rushing yards and a touchdown for the Hillclimbers.
The Urbana defense also came up big in the second half, shutting out Mechanicsburg after the break.
For the Indians, quarterback Matthew Davis had a big night on the ground. Davis rushed for 130 yards, including a 91-yard touchdown run in the first half.
But Urbana’s defense settled in after halftime and kept Mechanicsburg from adding to its total.
The Hillclimbers scored 28 straight points to turn a five-point deficit into a 23-point victory.
Urbana improves to 2-0 and has the early bragging rights in Champaign County.
Mechanicsburg falls to 1-1.
Bellbrook (2-0) 49, Bellefontaine (1-1) 17
Bellefontaine jumped out to a 10-0 lead Friday night, but Bellbrook scored 49 straight points to take control and beat the Chiefs 49-17.
Bellefontaine scored on its opening drive when Blake Loomis found Dillon Jones for a 61-yard touchdown.
The Chiefs added a 28-yard field goal from Noah Torsell after a 44-yard catch by CJ Butler helped set up the drive.
Bellbrook then took over.
Grant Diorio connected with Eli Edwards for a nine-yard touchdown before Bronson Epifano broke loose for a 51-yard scoring run.
Jack Kosins added two more touchdowns on runs of 72 and 10 yards.
Bellbrook added another score before halftime when Diorio connected with JT Frantz for a 39-yard gain, setting up a 17-yard touchdown to Epifano.
The Golden Eagles led 35-10 at halftime.
Bellbrook added two more touchdowns in the third quarter. Kenton Gerdes scored on a two-yard run, and freshman Henry Beeghly scored from two yards out after Bryce Elmeier intercepted a Loomis pass.
Bellefontaine’s final touchdown came in the fourth quarter when Evan Alexander took his first carry of the game 26 yards to the end zone.
Loomis finished 11-of-18 passing for 167 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
CJ Butler led the Chiefs with five catches for 95 yards, while Dillon Jones had three catches for 62 yards and a touchdown.
Bellbrook finished with 314 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.
Bellefontaine drops to 1-1 and will take on Marion Harding next week.
Other Local Games
Riverside (1-1) 47, Northeastern (0-2) 21
Riverside picked up its first win of the season with a 47-21 victory over Northeastern.
The Pirates controlled the game on the ground, finishing with 355 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns.
Dylan Trimble led Riverside with 130 rushing yards and three touchdowns on just seven carries.
Justin Mazariegos added 122 yards and two touchdowns, while Gunner Carpenter rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown.
Northeastern was led by Christopher Mapes, who rushed for 95 yards.
Levi Mefford added 40 rushing yards and a touchdown and also threw for 111 yards and a touchdown.
Riverside improves to 1-1, while Northeastern drops to 0-2.
The Pirates will host Spencerville next week on 98.3 WPKO and PeakofOhioTV.
Indian Lake (2-0) 40, Fairbanks (0-2) 7
Indian Lake stayed unbeaten with a 40-7 win over Fairbanks Friday night.
The Lakers scored seven points in the first quarter and then added 20 in the second to take a 27-0 lead into halftime.
Quarterback Brady Golliday had another big game, completing 14 of 17 passes for 261 yards and five touchdowns.
Brodey Reisinger caught five passes for 133 yards and two touchdowns.
Blake Sell also caught two touchdown passes, while Dawson Stevenson rushed for 110 yards.
Indian Lake finished with 482 yards of total offense.
Fairbanks scored its only touchdown in the fourth quarter when Aidan Hafner connected with Collin Bailey for a 45-yard score.
The Lakers are now 2-0 and have scored 93 points in their first two games.
Indian Lake will take on Allen East next week.
