The Benjamin Logan Boys Varsity Bowling team participated in the D2 State Kickoff tournament at HP Lanes in Columbus on Saturday. After placing 6th in the qualifying rounds, which included 3 conventional games and 2 Baker games, the team advanced to the Championship Round. They faced Hubbard in the first round, moving on to take on St. Henry, where they lost 559-544, ultimately finishing in 6th place — a two-spot improvement from last year.
Leading the Raiders were Nate Davis, who bowled a 610 series (204, 194, 212), Jarrett Buckenroth with a 590 series (189, 191, 210), and Caleb Knight with a 580 series (171, 222, 187). Dylan Stewart contributed with a 487 series (156, 172, 159), while Landon Stoodt added an 186 game.
Out of 168 individual bowlers, Nate Davis placed 14th, Jarrett Buckenroth placed 23rd, Caleb Knight placed 30th, and Dylan Stewart finished 76th.
The Boys Varsity and JV squads will return to CBC action on Monday, December 9th, when they face the Urbana Hillclimbers at TP Lanes, with the first strike set for 4:00 PM.
