Raiders Defeat Graham, Riverside Falls to Bethel


The Benjamin Logan Varsity Raiders were triumphant over Graham 9-5 on Tuesday.

The Raiders got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Camden Spriggs singled, scoring two runs, Bryden Morris tripled, scoring three runs, and Anthony Griffith doubled, scoring one run.

Hunter Peterson earned the win for the Raiders.

The right-handed pitcher surrendered three hits and five runs (four earned) over four innings, striking out three and walking seven.

Soli Hughes pitched three innings of shutout ball for Benjamin Logan in relief.

The southpaw allowed one hit, striking out two and walking one.

Benjamin Logan piled up 10 hits in the game.

Peterson, Morris, and Hughes each collected two hits.

Morris and Spriggs each drove in two runs.


Riverside took on defending league champion Bethel Tuesday night and simply could not overcome the Bees Ace pitcher.

Luke Gray went the distance striking out 10 and walking 1 while throwing a no-hit shutout for Bethel.

Gray also had 2 hits and drove in 3 runs.

Sam King took the loss for Riverside going 4 innings giving up 4 hits and 6 runs while walking 5 batters.

Riverside drops to 4-3 with the loss and 1-3 in league play.
