Several area volleyball teams took home hardware Tuesday evening.
The Benjamin Logan varsity team defeated Tippecanoe in 5 sets to win the Division II Sectional Title: 25-23, 11-25, 25-19, 20-25, and 15-12.
Makayla Williamson had 15 kills.
Brielle Moorhouse had 35 assists.
Mia Stahler had 29 digs.
The Lady Raiders will play Badin for a district title on Saturday, October 29 at Kettering Fairmont High School. A time has not yet been determined.
Benjamin Logan is 23-2 on the season.
Graham’s varsity team also secured a Division II Sectional Title, after defeating Kenton Ridge in 5 sets.
The Lady Falcons improve to 14-8.
Graham will play the winner of Mercy McAuley/Wyoming (who play Wednesday) on Saturday at Kettering Fairmont.
Fairbanks defeated Fredericktown in straight sets, winning a Division III Sectional Title: 26-24, 25-17, 28-26.
The Lady Panthers are now 22-2.
Fairbanks will play Worthington Christian Saturday at Mount Vernon Nazarene University at 5 p.m.
Miami East topped West Liberty-Salem in straight sets to win the Division III Sectional Title: 25-17, 25-21, 25-19.
The Lady Tigers finish the season 19-6.
