Raiders fall to Urbana in bowling

The Benjamin Logan bowling teams competed against Urbana Thursday night at Southwest Lanes.

The Varsity Lady Raiders lost 2,644 – 2,137.

Leading the way for Benjamin Logan was Malori Barnes with a 348 series (188, 160), Ellie Heim rolled a 198 game, Reece Plikerd chipped in with a 185 game and Lorali Klopfenstein added a 152 game.

The JV Lady Raiders topped Urbana 1,868 – 1,402.

Hunter McColloch led with a 302 series (149, 153), Maddy Hamm fired a 261 series (119, 142), and Reigan Thomas rolled a 259 series (133, 126).

The Benjamin Logan varsity boys fell to Urbana 2,893 – 2,474.

Leading the Raiders was Bryant Watkins with a 422 series (200, 222), Nate Davis fired a 392 series (201, 191), Brayson Dafler rolled a 380 series (212, 168), and Jarrett Buckenroth tallied a 356 series (189, 167).

In the varsity Baker Games, Urbana took 3 of 4.

Benjamin Logan is now 7-4 in the CBC.

The Raider JV boys beat Urbana 2478 – 2113.

Jason Timple led the way with a personal high series of 455 (personal high game of 266, 189), Conner Reames recorded a 355 series (156, 199), Daniel Kensler added a 338 series (178, 160), Falen Thomas contributed with a 185 game and Daven Williams chipped in with a 184 game.

In the JV Baker Games, Benjamin Logan took all 4 games from Urbana.

The JV Raiders are now 7-1 in CBC action.

Both the Benjamin Logan boys and girls bowling teams will return to action on Tuesday, January 10 against Graham at TP Lanes. Matches start at 4 p.m.
