Ladies Heat Up the Court on Saturday

The Benjamin Logan Raiders hosted the Graham Falcons on Saturday. The JV team won 34-24, with Hailey Smith scoring 14 points. Molly Siefring had 6 points, Lexi Lovett added 5, and Aubrey Harris and Madison Shields both scored 4 points.

The Varsity Raiders lost to Graham 52-41. Elliott Butler scored 8 points, Kylie Harner had 7, Daylin Varner and Adilynne Gregg each added 6 points, and Gregg grabbed 17 rebounds. Kaylee Hays scored 4 points. Both teams will play in London on Wednesday, with the JV game starting at 6:00 p.m.

Triad’s Varsity team lost 56-21 to Greenon. Jazz Ford led with 9 points, Mia LeMay had 4 points and 13 rebounds, and Gracie Martin added 4 rebounds. The Cardinals are now 2-9 and will play at Mechanicsburg on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

Indian Lake beat Springfield Shawnee 60-19. Kennedy Schwaderer scored 22 points and had 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Carly Strayer added 16 points and 8 rebounds, while Courtney Altstaetter had 9 points and 8 rebounds. Mackenzie Dixon scored 8 points and had 4 assists. The JV Lakers lost 10-7 in a two-quarter game, with Terra Beltz scoring 4 points and Haley Metzger adding 3.

In other action, Southeastern beat West Liberty-Salem 54-37. Arianna Weaver scored 7 points for the Tigers, and Addi Wallen had 14 points. The JV Tigers lost 30-18, with Lucy Cole scoring 8 points.

The Lady Chieftains pulled off a victory over Kenton Ridge. Tiffany Boop led the way with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Laila Butler added another 15 points, while Quinlan Zedeker contributed 12 points to the win. Gabbe Hoon and Hailee Lamb both added 6 points each, with Hoon also pulling down 6 rebounds. The JV team also earned a victory, defeating Kenton Ridge 26-19 in a 2-quarter game. Richiona Burnell led the JV squad with 10 points. The Lady Chieftains now stand at 9-4 overall and 5-1 in the CBC.
