The Benjamin Logan earned a 9-4 victory over Bellefontaine on Wednesday.
The Raiders took control early in the game, scoring two runs in the first inning.
Cayden Brown led off with a single to center field, and Anthony Griffith’s lineout brought in another run to give Benjamin Logan a quick 2-0 lead.
In the top of the second inning, the Raiders exploded for five more runs on just three hits.
Soli Hughes drew a walk to score a run, while Carter Lyden delivered a two-RBI double.
Bryden Morris followed up with a triple that added another run, and a dropped third strike scored the final run of the inning.
The Raiders finished the second inning with a 7-0 lead.
Morris earned the win for the Raiders, pitching four strong innings.
He allowed only three hits and one run, striking out five batters while walking three.
Adam Tinsman came in for the save, securing the win for Benjamin Logan.
Lyden led the Raiders offensively with two RBIs, going 1-for-4.
Morris, who had a standout day at the plate, went 3-for-4, leading the team with three hits.
Xavier Allen also contributed with two walks, and the Raiders showed great discipline at the plate, accumulating a total of six walks during the game.
Hughes and Griffith were active on the base paths, stealing multiple bases as the team tallied nine stolen bases overall.
For Bellefontaine, Patrick Stolly, Jose Sandoval, Brody Boy, and Zylar Huffman each collected a hit.
Huffman went 1-for-1 at the plate, driving in two RBIs for the Chiefs.
The Raiders will travel to London for their next game this Friday.
